I came to Miami as a kid — from Uruguay by way of New Jersey — and South Florida is home. Outside the courtroom, I try to put the same energy into the community that I put into my clients’ cases.
Hands-on
Some of the best days of the year are spent away from the office: working the serving line at Chapman Partnership’s Homeless Assistance Center, and painting and cleaning up at the TACOLCY Center in Liberty City with The Miami Foundation’s volunteer crew. It is a reminder of who the work is really for.
Philanthropy
Emanuel serves on The Miami Foundation’s Professional Advisors Committee — attorneys, accountants and financial advisors who work with the Foundation to strengthen charitable giving across Greater Miami.
The Miami Foundation has been building philanthropy in Greater Miami for decades. Its Professional Advisors Committee connects the Foundation with the attorneys and advisors who help Miami families plan their giving.
